Historical evolution
The Jiading District Office received order to establish the health center in 1951. From a period of preparation, on May 10 in the same year, borrowed the Baojia administration office and formally established. The first director was Wu Zhenxiang, there were three staffs only. Until 1952, it changes to be under the jurisdiction of Health Bureau of Kaohsiung County. Mr. Wu ZhenXiang was continue serving as director, expand manpower to six staffs. At the end of 1953 subsidized by Chinese Agriculture Rejuvenate Committee, built the new office across the street from the old site at Sec 2 of Jiading RD. Jiafu village. Again, changed be under the jurisdiction of District Office in 1956, made another change to be under Health Bureau in 1974.
Because health center has gone through for twenty-eight years the building is too old to bear anything, in order to undertake many medical services, the previous location was too narrow to apply. So, allocated NT$ 4, 100,000 from central and province governments, to build a new office at the present location No. 1, Sec 2, Binghai RD. Unfortunately it had been through 7 times of failed bidding, with inspector Mr. Guo Fujian’s effort to collect NT$ 766,000 from many temples in the town, the project was finally under going and finished on June 10, 1987, then extend the back yard office in 1997.
All previous directors of our center: in order, the first Mr. Wu ZhenXiang, the second Mr. Wei Tangan, the third Mr. Cai YiXiong, the fourth Mr. Xiao BingHua, the fifth Mr. Yuan ZhongTai, sixth Mr. Cai YiXiong, seventh Mr. Zheng Bochun, eighth Mr.Chuang WenZhan.
